This was a great article that Reading My Tea Leaves pointed out.
I really want to try this perfect pancake recipe!
I wonder if they ever found this llama?
Taking wearing a uniform to a whole new level to teach about sustainable fashion. Also, I love to see anyone from NJ (the state I was born in and now live again) involved in sustainable practices!
Speaking of clothing, I’ve been trying to take more OOTD photos, something I used to do when I was a youngin’. At first this was a way to document my vintage and thrifted capsule wardrobe, but I have found that I have totally forgotten/unlearned how to take a photo of myself. When I was in my 20s I spent years taking 365 self portraits, and now, I’m lost. I have read a few articles about this recently but none very memorable. My own conclusion and advice is to never stop taking self portraits. Not to be confused with selfies, which are un-thought-out, repetitive, boring and narcissistic, self portraits are a way for individuals and artists to connect with their image both actual and idealized. By being dormant in this practice, I now find my image foreign and unattractive, but I’m hoping to turn that around and reconnect with it.
Do you struggle with taking pictures of yourself? Would anyone like to for me to make a long post about this issue? Or body image issues? Or body positivity issues?
