The monthly goals I have been creating and sharing have naturally fallen into themes for each month, I think. Starting with June, I want to be more intentional with these themes. When I set these goals, I have seen them as jumping off points to start habit building. For example, I had a life admin day as a goal for a few months and now I have incorporated doing one each month into my monthly habits. For June, I want to focus on my health.
May went by so fast, but when I looked back at which of my goals I achieved I got a lot more done than I thought.

Plan our next 2 trips
I want to get this done this month so we can take the time off we will need to.
Yes! Unfortunately, the trips we planned are separate. But we also planned some days off together. Planning time off together, or trips together should become a part of every month so we don’t miss out on the opportunity.
Plant 6 or more garden beds.
Now that the weather is nicer, getting out in the yard and garden shouldn’t be too hard. I want to make sure we have our beds planted, so that’s the new goal.
I planted 3 beds int he community garden for work, and we planted 2 beds at home, plus a ton of pots. We were able to get a real start to gardening and cleaning up the yard.
Better health 15 days of the month
Ok, getting out into nature will help, eating better will help, morning walks will help, stretching and exercising will help. Now I’ve got to actually do those things.
I would say this was a no.
Inbox to 1000 and and decrease
My inbox has crept back up to well over 1000. I even had to buy more storage, so this task should be easier.
I have to figure out a way to incorporate this into my daily or weekly routine.
Blog as many times as I can for the month.
I want to eventually have a steady 5 days per week blog schedule, but posting as many as I can will help me settle in.
I did blog as many times as I could, but it wasn’t many. I hope to do better in June.

I tend to start off pretty strong and peter out in the middle of the month. Let’s see how it goes in June.
10,000 steps 4 times per week
I used to walk all the time, but have fallen out of the habit. I like that I can use a pedometer to keep myself accountable.
Beach or swim 3 times per week.
Something I have really been wanting to do, but have had a block about. Since we live by the beach and have access to it, I want to use it bc I know it makes a difference in my life.
Eat well and vegan 1 day per week.
I want to improve my health and food sustainability and being mindful about what I eat is a great start!
